Five Mountain Buddhist Seminary, a national seminary for adult learners offering a program of study leading to a Masters degree in Buddhist Doctrine, is seeking Adjunct and Core Faculty in all areas of Buddhist and East Asian studies. These positions teach courses, may serve as advisors to seminarians, participate on seminary-wide committees, or engage in marketing and recruiting efforts.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited program, or be a recognized and sanctioned teacher within their respective Buddhist tradition. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain high level of confidentiality is a must. Excellent customer service skills, multi-tasking skills and an affinity for detail are required. It is essential that the candidate have a rigorous Buddhist meditation practice.
As Five Mountain is a distributed learning/online education environment, no relocation is necessary.
